Mathematical Geodesy and Positioning
MGP's programme contributes to geometric measurement science and aims at the development of models for the use of modern high-precision positioning and remote sensing systems together with their integrity and geometric embedding. A main feature of the programme, also referred to as the 'Delft School', is the special attention given to the linking of mathematical models and the development and operationalisation of geostatistical quality control theory.

Ria Scholtes - in memoriam It is with great sadness that we must inform you that our colleague Ria Scholtes (59) passed away on 7 May 2009 following a harsh struggle against a terminal illness. We are deeply impressed by the way she and her family coped with her disease. We consider it a true honour to have worked with such a wonderful woman over the past ten years. Ria has inspired each and every one of us in her own way and this legacy will live on within us. Our thoughts are with her family. |
