After four years of research and testing, the small wind turbine designed by TU Delft spin-off Windchallenge is ready for its market launch. The Windchallenge 1.7 can now be ordered and delivered. Interested parties can see the turbine in action from 15 May onwards. An example of this lightweight, quiet and affordable turbine will be present on the roof of incubator company Yes!Delft in Delft.

On Monday 24 September, Jorrit Vervoordeldonk was presented with the second prize in the Undergraduate Individual Aircraft Design Competition, a prestigious design competition run by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). He is the first non-American to reach this level of the competition.
